Troubleshooting
Cadenza doesn't seem to listen to me.
Open System Preferences > Sound and select “Input.” Make sure your microphone is selected as the input device and that you can see the sound level indicator change when you make sound.
If Cadenza still has trouble staying with you, it may be hearing too much accompaniment and not enough soloist. Increase the distance between microphone and speakers. Lower the volume of the accompaniment. Alternatively you can use an external microphone attached to your instrument. An inexpensive clip-on microphone like one used with electronic tuners works well.
